Each set of precision instruments is contained in a hand milled and finished case
of solid alderwood with a stained walnut finish.
For safety and convenience, micro-tool are placed into
individual Teflon bushings in a pivoted tool rack which automatically
swings into position when the lid is open and retracts when closed.
Six tool handles are contained in milled cavities. |

on our proprietary micro grinding machines employing the latest
grinding and polishing technology.
Each of the carbide micro-cutting tools and handle can be
ordered separately or in sets.
Alderwood storing cases are available, (shown on this
page). Single
tools are shipped in plastic container.

PROFESSIONAL MANUAL MICRO MANIPULATOR
FX-117 three axis micro-manipulator provides safe and efficient positioning for Minitool microtools.
All three vernier reading graduated in 0.1mm. The X-axis, which holds the tool clamp with microtool, has an additional fine movement with 0.01mm graduations.
The FX117 employs rack and pinion drive, V-shaped guide ways and cross bearings, so movement is precise and repeatable. Contact parts are milled of hardened steel for optimum performance and long life. Design employs inline control knobs clustered within an 8cm area in a single vertical plane resulting in quick and precise hand manipulation.
The stand FX117-01 has a dovetail adapter and mounting post. The optional adapter FX115-03 can also be used.

MANUAL ULTRA PRECISION
MICRO-MANIPULATOR
FX-118
The world patented precision micro-manipulator Model FX-118 employs
a unique differential lever system for smooth movement of each
of its three stages, X, Y & Z.
Each of the three stages is controlled by two independent micrometers
for rapid or fine advancement of each stage.
An optional tilting device (FX-113) has micrometer controlled
tilting in two additional directions.
An optional micro-tool holder (FX-118-01) is available which
can be mounted to either the Z axis of the manipulator or the
FX-113 tilting device.
Also available is an optional adapter (FX-115-03), which holds
all available micro-tools.
